The Echo of Mangarh
In November 1913, tribal Bhils led by Govind Guru gathered at Mangarh Hills, Rajasthan to protest unjust taxes and forced labor. Facing an armed trap, the community stood their ground fearlessly. British forces surrounded the hills and opened fire unprovoked, martyring over 1,500 people. Mangarh remains a testament to tribal India’s ultimate sacrifice. Delhivery bows to the valour of the people of Mangarh, whose sacrifices paved our way to freedom.
