The Valour of Eram

In September 1942, Eram, Odisha rejected colonial rule to form a parallel government. When British police blocked their field’s only exit and opened fire, 5,000 unarmed villagers stood fearlessly to shield their leaders. Twenty-nine souls were martyred, including Pari Bewa, a brave female martyr of Odisha. This immense sacrifice shattered the myth of absolute British control. Delhivery bows to the valour of the people of Eram, whose sacrifices paved our way to freedom.
