The Ascent of Tarapur

On February 15, 1932, young satyagrahis marched in waves to hoist the tricolour atop the police station in Tarapur, Bihar. Disregarding their safety under unprovoked British gunfire, they charged until a brave youth scaled the building to raise the flag. Thirty-four patriots were martyred, igniting a massive public uprising. Delhivery bows to the valour of the people of Tarapur, whose sacrifices paved our way to freedom.
