The Flame of Anand
In August 1942, students went to villages to distribute banned freedom leaflets. As they gathered at Adas railway station in Anand, Gujarat, British police ambushed the unarmed youth and opened fire. Five brave souls were martyred. Their sacrifice made that ground unforgettable, igniting a fierce flame of youth-led rebellion that the Empire could never extinguish. Delhivery bows to the valour of the people of Adas, whose sacrifices paved our way to freedom.
