The Bows of Bhagandih

On June 30, 1855, in Bhagandih, Jharkhand, over 30,000 Santhals launched the historic Santhal Hool. Led by brothers Sidhu and Kanhu Murmu, they armed themselves with bows and arrows to end British exploitation across the Rajmahal Hills. Declaring total independence, their fierce resistance shook colonial rule. Delhivery bows to the valour of the people of Bhagandih, whose sacrifices paved our way to freedom.
