The Sepoys of Jutogh

In May 1857, the Jutogh cantonment near Shimla sparked immense panic across the British summer capital. Sepoys of the Nasiri Battalion mutinied against colonial orders and seized the local treasury, refusing to march against Indian rebels in Ambala. Their sudden defiance terrified the British high command, forcing colonial officials to flee into the hills. Delhivery bows to the valour of the people of Jutogh, whose sacrifices paved our way to freedom.
