The Unity of Kailashahar

In 1942, Kailashahar, Tripura erupted in open revolt as Reang and native tribal peasant groups organized under Ratan Mani Reang against colonial revenue exploitation and forced labor. Surrounding British outposts, the rebels established liberated tribal pockets and refused imperial taxes, facing severe military crackdowns. Delhivery bows to the valour of the people of Kailashahar, whose sacrifices paved our way to freedom.
