The Spark of Palghar

In August 1942, the coastal town of Palghar, Maharashtra witnessed a fierce, youth-led clash against the British Raj. Responding to the Quit India call, a few courageous young freedom fighters—aged just 17 to 20—marched proudly with the national flag. Confronting unprovoked British gunfire, they sacrificed their lives, igniting a powerful wave of defiance across Maharashtra. Delhivery bows to the valour of the people of Palghar, whose sacrifices paved our way to freedom.
