The Army of Rewari
In May 1857, answering the national call for freedom, the citizens of Rewari marched on colonial headquarters, ousted imperial officials, and reclaimed their land. Uniting as a sanctuary of revolt, the people raised a 5,000-strong army, manufactured their own ammunition, and sustained the freedom fighters in Delhi with vital supplies. Delhivery bows to the valour of the people of Rewari, whose sacrifices paved our way to freedom.
