The Last Ground of Changsil

In 1890, as the British pushed to annex the Lushai Hills, warrior Khuangchera, his comrade Ngurbawnga, and their men stood their ground near Changsil Fort. Refusing to desert his fallen friend, Khuangchera carried Ngurbawnga’s body while fighting on until British gunfire cut them down. Their sacrifice echoes through the hills as a symbol of fierce defiance. Delhivery bows to the valour of the people of the Lushai Hills, whose sacrifices paved our way to freedom.
